If someone ever takes a suborbital space flight with Virgin Galactic, they absolutely must tell us if the Great Wall can be seen from space. At about 21,000 km long, it is definitely very long and a “Wonder of the World.” We never thought we would actually walk on it with our own feet. What a feeling—like reaching a high mountain summit.

We are at the renovated section of “Mutianyu” (about 1.5 hours by taxi for €25!) and are walking the entire walkable stretch of about 5 km. We exchanged contact information with other tourists twice and took a great number of photos. Sylvia dressed perfectly for the event, and we had brilliant sunshine, too. We send greetings to our Falla “Exposición” in Valencia from here.

At the end of our Wall section, there’s a summer toboggan run, but (believe it or not) people over 60 are not allowed to ride it anymore. Can you believe that!
YouTube Video on full sreen and sound on!
Beautiful 😍😍😍 i
Great video. What an experience,
Obviously people over 60 are past it! Maybe they think we’ll have a heat attack if we do anything too exciting. Lol
And according to the web, the Great Wall is unlikely to be visible from space, but the greenhouse of Almería are.
